In Karnataka, it has become a requirement to have a Land Podi prepared before buying or selling any agricultural land. After verifying your documents, we will apply for either Tatkal podi or regular podi. Once your application is approved, revenue department officials (ADLR, surveyor, etc.) will inspect your land and prepare a detailed report of its extent for the specific survey number. They will mark your boundary, and the local tahsildar will assign a new hissa or a survey number.
The Regular podi process takes about three months to complete, while the Tatkal podi can be completed within one month.
